Relationship Between Attachment Behaviors and Marital Trust Among Nurses With the Mediating Role of Covert Aggression

Background: Marital trust as a fiduciary relationship is very important for ensuring the continuity of married life, and identifying its factors are critical. Female nurses prone to marital problems due involvement in stressful jobs with different work shifts long working hours. Accordingly, present study aimed investigate mediating role covert aggression relationships between attachment behaviors female nurses. Methods: This correlational was conducted using structural equation modeling (SEM) from March June 2021. The statistical population consisted all (aged 25-55 years) hospitals Shiraz City, Iran. Of whom, 310 were selected sample through two-stage cluster random sampling. research instruments included Trust Close Relationships scale, brief accessibility, responsiveness, engagement (BARE) couples relational victimization scale (CRAViS). proposed model evaluated by SEM, indirect examined Bootstrap method AMOS-24. significance level considered be 0.05. Results: results showed that both paths dimensions trust, mediated (destruction social image emotional withdrawal), statistically significant (P<0.05). In addition, demonstrated direct (P<0.01).
